How to go Kamikochi
There is no train route connected directly to Kamikochi. Therefore, visiting is a little difficult, it takes time to understand access.
Getting to by train
(public transportation)
There is no train route connected directly to Kamikochi. When going to Kamikochi by train, bullet train, airline from various places, first aim at "JR Matsumoto station" or "JR Takayama station".

For traffic to Matsumoto, or Takayama, the amount of information is too much to omit it.
From "Matsumoto" or "Takayama"
There must be a transit and it will take about two hours.
Two exceptions to go from Tokyo
There is a bus that goes straight from JR Nagano station to Kamikochi, only when using the Nagano Shinkansen "Hakutaka 551".
There are direct buses from JR Tokyo station and JR Shinjuku station
Long distance Express bus "Sawayakashinshu-go"
Exceptions to go from Osaka · Kyoto, Nagoya
There is a direct long distance Express bus from each.
Getting to by car
When visiting by car, from Matsumoto side "Sawando", from Takayama side "Hirayu" to Kamikochi-shuttle, or change to a flat-rate taxi.
Transfer at Sawando
Park the car and change to "Kamikochi Shuttle". (Depart at 15 to 20 minute intervals, Required 25 minutes)
